Museless

Have you ever had a time when you feel like there is something to do, but you just don't know what? Or, if you do know "what," you can't seem to begin? I'm trying to continue a piece I've been working on but I can't seem to gather myself enough to go and do it. It's like my motivation to create is on vacation. It isn't moving me along like it was two weeks ago (or so). It seems rather silly that I'm stuck, being a Graphic Design major and all but sometimes being in all these classes seems to suck the inspiration out of you. There's hope though, I still feel that excitement when a project is presented and an urge to explore the possibilities. The newest project in Graphics II is a redesign of old, stogy book covers. Ones that are modern and make you want to at least see what's inside. More on this soon as I continue designing.

Light Lessons:

  • Muse is like a roller coaster. There are ups and downs but both are ok.
  • There may be times that you want to quit, but when the excitement still happens day in and day out, chances are that's where your passion is.
